Joseph began his career in the Automotive Manufacturing and Operations Industry with Metaldyne, Inc., (formally Simpson Industries, Inc.), a global designer and supplier of engine, driveline and chassis products. Joseph has held various positions in the Automotive Engine Products Group such as Production Supervisor, Human Resources Rep., Continuous Improvement Resource and Quality Management. His career with Metaldyne spanned 14 years of service in both Michigan and Ohio. Following his career at Metaldyne, Joseph joined the Quality team at Fortune 500 Company Johnson Controls, Inc. and held the positions of Quality Engineer and Quality Manager in the Automotive Interior Division. Throughout his career he has worked in both Union and Non-Union environments, including United Auto Workers and United Steel Workers Union.
Joseph has strong customer and supplier relations with areas of expertise in the following:
• Quality Systems
• Continuous Improvement
• Performance Management
• Waste Reduction
Joseph, through work experience, understands the economic necessity to develop the workforce in True Leadership concepts and Continuous Improvement, resulting in lower cost product and overall customer satisfaction and excellence.
